This Thanksgiving, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible achievements of our DeKalb GOP family and the unity that has driven us forward. Together, we made history this election cycle, showing that hard work, innovation, and collaboration can lead to extraordinary results.

Our Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts, powered by a robust ground game, resulted in a 5.69% increase in active voter turnout and helped secure the largest shift to the right in the metro Atlanta area—a 2.7% shift. Through the groundbreaking #VoteDeKalbRed Digital Ad Campaign, we delivered over 850,000 ads to 79% of DeKalb County voters, marking a historic first in decades. These efforts also resulted in an 8.69% uplift in Republican votes, far exceeding the state’s average uplift of 3% for President Donald J. Trump. At the same time, our commitment to FITness – Faith, Integrity & Trust in our Elections (FITness) protected the vote, training and deploying over 280 poll watchers and election monitors to ensure election integrity at all stages and at every Election Day precinct.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our incredible candidates, their campaign teams, our volunteers, members, investors and supporters who poured their hearts into this election cycle. Your perseverance, leadership, and vision are deeply appreciated, and your work has laid the foundation for a brighter future in DeKalb County, Georgia and our country. To our grassroots partners—including the GAGOP, Trump 47 Campaign, Tea Party Patriots, and Turning Point Action—your commitment to our shared mission was the driving force behind these successes. Together, we proved that DeKalb County is the epicenter of Georgia’s battleground status, playing a vital role in President Trump’s victory in the state.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, let us take a moment to reflect on the blessings of family and friends, who provide the love, encouragement, sacrifices and support that make all of this possible. Cherish the time spent with your loved ones, and let it renew your spirit for the work ahead.

We also pause to honor the memory of Bruce Thompson, Georgia’s Labor Commissioner and a tireless conservative leader. Bruce’s legacy reminds us to approach every challenge with integrity and determination, and we are grateful for the example he set for us all.
