CALLING ALL REPUBLICANS: Be a part of ensuring FITness – Faith, Integrity & Trust in our elections by volunteering as a Poll Watcher in DeKalb County during the Mid-Term Primary Election. There are Thirteen (13) Early Voting Locations in DeKalb County —six of them with drop boxes. There are 191 Precincts on Election Day.
As a poll watcher, you will also be observing the set-up and/or break down of the precinct. There will be two shifts per day comprised of two people per shift/precinct.
Early Voting – May 2 through May 20: Weekdays, Shift One will be from 6:30 am to 1 pm and Shift Two will be from 1 pm to approximately 7:30 pm. Saturdays, Shift One will be from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM and Shift Two will be from 1:30 PM to approximately 6:30 PM. Sundays will have Shift One from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Primary Election Day – May 24: Polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM. There will be two shifts per day comprised of two people per shift/precinct. Shift One will be from 6:30 AM to 1 PM. Shift Two will be from 1 PM to approximately 7:30 PM.
Kindly Note:
- Each volunteer must register individually for your credentials to be issued.
- Transportation: You will also be responsible for providing your own transportation to and from the precinct.
- Training is required. There are several virtual Poll Watcher Training Classes. Select one that works best for your schedule.

Poll Watcher Training is available from both Election Integrity Team Georgia Victory Team and the Tea Party Patriots Election Integrity Center. As Poll Watcher Training is a requirement for your participation, The DeKalb GOP recommends that you attend the training session that best works for your schedule.

Presented by The Tea Party Patriots, this in-depth poll watcher training provides an understanding of the background of poll watching, the process of voter flow, understanding of the voting equipment, opening and closing procedures, provisional ballots, important forms used by polling locations, ballot drop box laws, what happens to the data cards and ballots after the close of Election Day precincts and what to look for. The training also covers the laws associated with poll watching, as well as helpful tips.
