Georgia’s Revised Congressional and Legislative Maps
On December 28, 2023, a federal judge with the United States District Court for the Northern District ruled that the boundaries drawn by Georgia lawmakers during a special session were accepted. Over the next few weeks, Georgia’s Secretary of State’s Office will be updating your with the new redistricting maps. Note that your precinct (voting) location will not change but who you may be voting for in 2024 may change depending on where you reside.
DeKalb’s Three U.S. Congressional Districts
DeKalb County will now be located in three Congressional Districts – GA 4th, GA 5th and a small sliver of the northwest section of the GA13th. Those that reside in Brookhaven will be in the Georgia 5th.
DeKalb’s Six State Senate Districts DeKalb County will now be comprised of six State Senate Districts to include SD10, SD40, SD41, SD43, SD44 and SD55.
DeKalb’s Seventeen State House Districts
DeKalb County will now be comprised of ten State House Districts to include HD52, HD80, HD83, HD84, HD85, HD86, HD87, HD88, HD89, HD90, HD91, HD93, HD94, HD95, HD101, HD115, HD116.
